After speculation about a possible superfight between former boxer Floyd Mayweather intensified in recent days and the UFC featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, the North American himself took to social media to announce the duel. The problem with Mayweather's confirmation is that it does not contain the date or location of the possible duel.

Within hours, publication on Instagram, which did not feature any comment or more detailed explanation from the boxing star, reached 880 views and became one of the most talked about topics in the fight industry.

According to the North American channel “FOX Sports”, the duel between Mayweather and McGregor will take place in Las Vegas, on September 17th. The TV network “ESPN”, also from the United States, reported that the confrontation will only take place in May of next year, at a location to be defined. In both cases, however, there was no officialization.
