No fight scheduled in Ultimate, since he was cut from the fight against Nate diaz at UFC 200 for refusing to participate in the event's promotional schedule, the Irishman Conor McGregor continues to make waves behind the scenes in the world of martial arts. This time, Conor published an image, a priori, unpretentious in which he reveals that he received a gift from the Reebok brand, his sponsor.

“Boxing shoes”, he wrote in the succinct caption of the photo, published on his official profile on Instagram. In the image, three different pairs of shoes appear – in models that, coincidentally or not, closely resemble the pattern of UFC uniforms. McGregor's sudden interest in boxing has been related to the possible superfight between the Irishman and former boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., which has been speculated and has gained momentum mainly due to the attitudes and statements of Mayweather himself.

Ultimate featherweight champion, Conor McGregor hasn't defended his belt yet and will see his next opponent drop out of the interim title fight for the category between José Aldo e Frankie Edgar at UFC 200, scheduled for July 9th. The Irishman is coming off a defeat in his last fight, in March, in which he moved up two categories and was submitted by Nate diaz.
