Demetrious Johnson continues to reign supreme in the UFC flyweight category. With an overwhelming knockout of Henry Cejudo In the co-main fight of UFC 197, on Saturday night (23), Johnson reached eight consecutive title defenses and is already approaching the main records in this regard.
After being surprised by Cejudo with a takedown in the opening stretch of the fight, Demetrious showed a clinch fair and with devastating elbows and knees he paved the way for the technical knockout in the middle of the first round.
Now Demetrious Johnson has a professional record of 24 wins, two losses and one draw. The “Mighty Mouse” now has nine consecutive victories in Ultimate, five of which were by knockout or submission.
