McGregor, who is training with his team this week in Iceland, refused to go to Las Vegas to participate in a press conference this Friday (22), which will feature the main stars of UFC 200. Ultimate, then, removed the star from the event, and promised to announce a new main fight for the attraction soon.

The Irishman even announced his retirement during the controversy, but later backtracked. “Guess who’s back? He came back again. Conor is back, tell a friend,” wrote Kavanagh, referencing a song from rapper Eminem.

Then, the coach resumed his serious tone and asked the Irishman's fans to take a stand in favor of the fighter. “The decision is yours. You are the customers. What do you want? Press conferences or fights? Make some noise, because we are ready to do this damn thing!”, added the leader of SBG Ireland.
