After UFC Fight Night Tampa, held last Saturday (16), in Florida (USA), it was time for the Ultimate organization to update the official fighter rankings. And the new classification provoked opposite reactions from two Brazilians on the card: Glover Teixeira e Beth Pitbull.

Star of the main fight, in which he knocked out Rashad evans in a few seconds, Glover rose to third place among light heavyweights – leaving the former challenger behind Alexander Gustafson. Bethe, who suffered her second consecutive defeat after being overcome by Rachel Pennington in a split decision, she fell from eight to eleventh place in the women's bantamweight division.

Other significant changes in the rankings took place in the lightweight category. The Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov, who returned to the octagon after two years with a victory over Darrel Horcher, rose to first place, behind only the champion Rafael dos Anjos. Already Michael chiesa, who submitted Beneil Darriush on the preliminary card in Tampa, gained five spots and is now ninth.
