Coming from a sequence of three defeats in four fights, the Brazilian Gabriel “Napão”, who was fired from the UFC last week (see here), is considering hanging up his gloves and retiring from MMA.
On his official YouTube channel, the black belt stated that he wants to return to competing in jiu-jitsu and submission, but would only return to the Octagon for a good financial offer.

“I will definitely try to compete in the ADCC and jiu-jitsu championships again. As for MMA, I don't know, because the UFC was paying me very well and I'm not going to fight for a low salary. I don’t know if other organizations would pay me the same, but my goal is not to fight MMA anymore… But, for good money, I can come back”, said the heavyweight.
