Bellator's debut in Italy featured a Brazilian show. In the 152nd edition of the show, held this Sunday afternoon (17) in Turin (ITA), the potiguar Patricky Pitbull fought a battle with compatriot Kevin Souza in the night's main attraction.

After three rounds of a lot of exchange of blows, Pitbull unbalanced the fight with a game of takedowns and won the unanimous decision from the judges.

Despite the setback, Kevin, who was called to the show at the last minute, was praised by Bellator officials for accepting the fight with little preparation time and made a good appearance.

The fight

A boxing specialist, Kevin started the fight using his larger wingspan to hit his rival with straight blows. Despite being shorter, Patricky closed the distance and tried to connect punches with his rival. Pitbull still managed to take the fight to the ground and gain an advantage.

In the second round, the duel was held in the center of the cage with great care, with the referee even warning the athletes. Patricky then took the initiative and took Souza down again. However, the Bahian managed to free himself and left Kevin and dropped a few jabs at the end of the round.

In the third round, Kevin tried to work with straight blows again, but Pitbull preferred not to risk exchanging blows and took the fight to the ground again. Souza, once again, got up, but was unable to reverse the dispute and lost by unanimous decision from the judges (30×27, 30×27, 30×27).
