Coach projects Ronda's return and 'world domination'

Mike Dolce, responsible for the former champion's nutrition, highlights that his client is more focused than ever on returning to fights

Without fighting since November last year, when he lost his unbeaten record in MMA in a brutal way, Ronda Rousey He's already thinking about his return to fighting. The former champion wants to return to the octagon and “dominate the world”, as explained by the fighter's nutritionist, Mike Dolce.

At the end of last month, Dolce met with Ronda herself and the fighter's technical team to begin preparations for her next fight, which does not yet have a set date. The nutritionist guarantees that the North American's focus is on regaining the title.

“We are planning the return of Ronda and her world domination. That's what it's all about. The last defeat that Ronda had suffered was at the 2008 Olympics, when she turned things around and then won the bronze medal”, recalled Dolce, in an interview with the “MMA Junkie Radio” podcast. “She is extremely focused again, and the team is evolving. Now we are rowing in the right direction. It’s a matter of sitting back and waiting for the right time for her to come back.”

However, according to UFC president Dana White, the former champion is not expected to return to the octagon before November. In her last appearance, at UFC 193, Ronda was knocked out by Holly holm with a kick to the head. Holm, in fact, already lost the belt, being submitted by Miesha Tate in early March.
