Just over 24 hours. This was how long the approximately 45 tickets available for UFC 198 lasted, an event scheduled for May 14th at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba (PR). Only the most expensive tickets, for VIP sectors, are still available, in a very limited number.
According to the official website responsible for sales, the “LivePass“, around 32 thousand tickets were sold on Wednesday (30) alone, the date when sales began to the general public. The remaining 13 thousand tickets were sold out this Thursday morning (31). VIP tickets still available cost an average of R$1,5 and entitle you to a series of benefits.
The main fight of UFC 198 will mark the heavyweight champion's first title defense Fabricio Werdum, which faces Stipe Miocic. In addition, other fights with some of the biggest names in Brazilian MMA make up the main card: Vitor belfort x Ronaldo Jacare, Anderson Silva x Uriah Hall, Mauritius Shogun x Corey anderson e Chris Cyborg x Leslie Smith.
