An important women's bantamweight duel has been scheduled for UFC Fight Night Vegas, an event that will take place on May 29th in Las Vegas, in the United States. The former title challenger Sara McMann will measure forces with Jessica Eye, seventh place in the category ranking.

An Olympic wrestling medalist, McMann fought for the weight title in February 2014, against the then champion, Ronda Rousey. However, the American lost by technical knockout just over a minute into the fight. From then on, Sara won Lauren Murphy, but suffered two consecutive defeats, to the future champion Miesha Tate and for the Brazilian Amanda nunes.
Jessica Eye also comes from two consecutive setbacks, for the same Miesha Tate and for Juliana Peña. His last positive result was in November 2015, with a victory over Leslie Smith.
UFC Fight Night Vegas will have a legion of Brazilian representatives, including participation in the two main fights of the night. The duel between Thomas almeida e cody garbrandt is the highlight of the attraction, with Renan Barao e Jeremy Stephens making the second most important fight.
