In the title, released last Thursday (17), Nurmagomedov celebrates his victories by making the sign of the cross, a gesture used by Christian religions. The issue is that the Russian is Muslim, which provoked a complaint from the athlete himself on social media.

EA Sports acknowledged the error and assured that the issue will be resolved soon. “We wanted to reach out and let you know that we saw your concerns about your post-fight celebration. We have already informed our team about the problem and will change the celebration in our next update”, wrote the producer.

Nurmagomedov accepted the apology and assured that the situation has been clarified on his part. “I am Muslim, but I have nothing against Christians. Every man follows his own path in life, and my path is Islam. The game developers made a mistake, and let's be honest: all human beings make mistakes, and I won't hold a grudge,” he clarified.
