Starting this Thursday (24), movie theaters around the planet will show the long-awaited clash between two of the most popular superheroes in history in “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”. MMA fans who watch the feature film should end up familiarizing themselves with some of Batman's movements. That's because Bruce Wayne's interpreter, Ben Affleck, said that the hero's fighting style resembles that of the UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
“He’s more of a fighting style. You kind of get that physical, visceral feeling, of being hit. The fights are more of a beating, kind of influenced by the UFC, like the style of Conor McGregor”, said Affleck, in an interview with Reuters.
After winning the featherweight title in December, beating José Aldo in just 13 seconds, Conor McGregor has become the most popular fighter in the UFC today. The Irishman, however, is coming off a defeat to Nate diaz in his last fight, at the beginning of March. McGregor is expected to rematch Diaz at UFC 200 in July.
