With two wins in two fights in the UFC, Charles “from the Bronx” builds a trajectory of meteoric rise in Ultimate. After the debut victory against Darren Elkins, in July and the finalization on Ephraim Escudero, 45 days later, the Tupiniquim black belt already has a new appointment scheduled.
Charles will have a tough time ahead of him Jim Miller at UFC-124, an event that takes place on December 11th, in Montreal, Canada.
Miller has a record of 18 wins and just two losses in his career. The North American has a good streak of 5 consecutive victories, the last being against Brazilian Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night 22, in September. Charles will defend his 14-fight unbeaten record and will be looking for his third victory in the UFC.
In addition to Charles “from the Bronx”, UFC-124 will feature three more Brazilians in action. Ricardo “Cachorrão” Almeida will face T.J. Grant, Rafael “Sapo” Natal face Jason MacDonald e Thiago "Pitbull" Alves will fight against John howard. The main attraction of this edition of the UFC will be the welterweight title fight between the Canadian Georges St-Pierre and the North American Josh koscheck.
