Apparently a lot of people want to guarantee their place at UFC 200, an event that promises to be the biggest UFC event of the year. After names like Rafael dos Anjos e Nate diaz expressed their desire to fight on the card, now it was the turn of the organization's women's bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate, flirting with the idea of making his first title defense on the show.

Tate, who won the title with a dramatic finish over Holly holm, at the beginning of the month, commented on the matter at a press conference. “I've been thinking about the idea of fighting at UFC 200. It would be amazing, but I have no idea what the UFC plans for the event. I think they might already have a few title fights in mind, so it might not be realistic. But I'll be ready. If it's an option, great. If not, let’s see what happens,” she declared, in an excerpt reproduced by the “MMA Junkie” website.
After being speculated about rematches against Holm and Ronda Rousey, Tate was open about her next opponent. “I know there are a lot of top fighters, a lot of girls in the division who want to have a chance. I think I was challenged by everyone in the top 6, maybe even in the top 10. They all want to face me and they are all dangerous, so I think my job as champion is to be ready for whoever it is,” she clarified.
So far, no fight has been officially confirmed for UFC 200, which takes place on July 9 in Las Vegas (USA). It is speculated that Conor McGregor x Nate diaz, Cain Velazquez x Travis Browne and Gegard Mousasi x Derek Brunson are part of the programming.
