Conor McGregor even suggested that he would return to featherweight and defend his belt after being defeated by Nate diaz, but it seems that the Irishman will really have the chance to “clean up” his cartel and meet his tormentor again. The rerun of the duel between McGregor and Diaz is being scheduled to take place at the historic UFC 200 card in July.

The information was released by journalist Ariel Helwani, from the North American website “MMA Fighting”. According to the publication, there are only a few details left for the fight to be confirmed and the official announcement of the rematch should be made soon. The expectation is that the duel will take place again in the welterweight division (up to 77 kg), the same one in which the pair faced each other at the beginning of March.

UFC 200 promises to be one of the biggest events in the organization's history and will take place on July 9th, at the brand new “T-Mobile Arena”, in Las Vegas (USA). So far, no fights have been confirmed for the event, but plans have already been announced for two fights on the night: Cain Velazquez x Travis Browne and Gegard Mousasi x Derek Brunson.
