Different from what he had published on his Twitter (remember here), UFC president Dana White confirmed that the Croatian Mirko cro cop suffered an eye injury during training for UFC-119. The top hat, however, stated that the fighter has already been released by his doctor and will face Frank mir in the main fight of the event.
“In his last sparring training he suffered a cut on his eye,” said Dana. “But he visited an ophthalmologist and is cleared to fight,” said White, speaking to the North American website MMA Junkie.
