Danillo Índio defeated Joey Villaseno
With renowned MMA athletes and great fights on the card, the 13th edition of Shark Fights took place last night in Amarillo, Texas. The only Brazilian at the event, Danillo “Indian” Villefort scored his third consecutive victory since leaving the UFC. Before Joey Villasenor, the Brazilian fighter controlled the duel well during the three rounds to emerge victorious in the judges' unanimous decision.
In the main fight of the night, the current light heavyweight champion, Trevor Prangley, fought a real battle against the former UFC athlete, Keith Jardine, with the current belt owner winning in a split decision from the judges.
Another fight that excited the public at the Amarillo Civic Center was between two former UFC fighters, with the Cameroonian Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou starting in a mind-blowing way and almost knocking out Houston Alexander, but the American didn't give up, he recovered and won the fight by technical knockout in the second round.
