Lightweight champion and former protagonist of the main fight of UFC 196, the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos did not forgive the announcement that Nate diaz would be his replacement in the fight against Conor McGregor. Rafael took to social media and mocked the Irishman's choice as a new rival, implying that he did everything he could to avoid Donald Cerron.
“Why didn’t McGregor choose (Donald) Cerrone, who was in shape? He preferred to catch an unsuspecting person with 10 days like he did with (Chad) Mendes”, published Dos Anjos, who made a joke with McGregor's surname and one of the most famous chains of fast food the planet.

The Brazilian must remain without training for at least a month due to the broken foot that forced his exit from the UFC 196 card. McGregor x Diaz will continue to be the main fight of the event, which will feature a bantamweight title fight between Holly holm e Miesha Tate as co-main event.
