Champion of the fourth season of TUF Brazil, Glaico France his next fight within the UFC was confirmed. “Nego”, as he is known, will face James Vick at UFC 197, an event that will take place on April 23 in Las Vegas, in the United States.
França, has not stepped into the octagon since August last year, at UFC 190, when he defeated Fernando Butcher to win the reality show title. Overall, his professional MMA record is 13 wins and three losses.
However, the Brazilian will have a tough time ahead. Vick is undefeated in professional MMA and has already had four victories in the UFC, including a triumph over fellow Brazilian Valmir Bidu.
UFC 197 will have two fights for the belt. In the co-main fight, Henry Cejudo will try to overthrow Demetrious Johnson, flyweight champion; already Jon Jones will return to MMA with the aim of regaining the light heavyweight belt.
