Stephen Thompson UFC Fight Night 82, in Las Vegas (USA), ended the night in a state of grace. In addition to trampling John hendricks in the main fight of the event and categorically achieve the most important victory of his career, the North American also received one of the “Performance of the Night” awards from the attraction, held on Saturday night (6).
Thompson shared the honors with Chilean Diego Rivas, who also scored a beautiful knockout in their fight. Rivas survived a punishment from Noad Lahat in the first round to turn the game around with a precise flying knee. Each of them will receive an extra prize of US$50.
The “Fight of the Night” was Mike pyle and Sean Spencer, who opened the main card of UFC Fight Night 82. On that occasion, the veteran Pyle managed to win with a technical knockout in the third round. Both he and Spencer will also pocket $50.
