Nick Diaz will put his belt on the line against KJ Noons
The Strikeforce organization made it official this Wednesday that K.J. Noons will be the next challenger for the welterweight title of Nick Diaz. The fight will be one of the attractions at Strikeforce San José, an event scheduled for October 9th, in California.

The duel will be a rematch of the confrontation that took place in 2007, at EliteXC, when Noons beat Diaz by technical knockout.

In his last appearance, KJ knocked out Brazilian Jorge Gurgel, at Strikeforce Houston, held last Saturday, while Nick also came off a triumph, over Hayato Sakurai, at Dream 14, held in May.
