Tony Ferguson e Khabib Nurmagomedov They will only face each other in the Octagon in April, when the winner will possibly have a chance to fight for the UFC lightweight belt. However, the athletes have already started the duel on social media, motivated by the defeat of Sage Northcutt last Saturday (30th).

The youngest active UFC athlete, at 19 years old, the “darling” Northcutt lost his unbeaten record in MMA when he was submitted by Bryan barberena with a katagatame. Shortly after the fight, Ferguson posted a video on his Instagram celebrating the result of the fight and making fun of Northcutt: “Wow! He hit like a bitch and tried to tell the referee otherwise! That blow got you,” said Ferguson.
Nurmagomedov then came to the boy's defense. “You talk shit about a 19-year-old just because you're jealous that he makes more money than you. You’re a bum”, countered the Russian.
Ferguson then fired back at his next rival by poking at his downtime, as Nurmagomedov hasn't fought since April 2014. “I would say he makes more money than you because I'm active and getting so many Performance of the Night awards that I lost count ", he wrote.
Ferguson is on a seven-fight winning streak in the UFC, while Nurmagomeov has triumphed in all six of his fights in the Octagon. The two are expected to take part in the main fight of UFC on FOX 19, on April 16, in Tampa, Florida (USA).
