Edson Conterrâneo takes part in new reality show

After participating in the reality show “Troca de Família”, shown on TV Record, fighter Edson Conterrâneo embarked this week on another adventure. This time, the setting is Amazonas, the place chosen for the MMA champion to face the reality show “No Meio da Selva”.

Experiencing indigenous customs for a week, amid wild animals and the dangers of nature, Conterraneo will participate in the 'Indian Olympics', an event that brings together indigenous fighters considered unbeatable. “I'm practically going to have to become an Indian: cut wood in the forest, fish with a bow and arrow, carry logs, do that 'uga uga' fight,” he laughs. The program, despite not having a set airing date, is part of an independent production and should be sold to TV channels.

Now, Conterraneo’s expectation is to repeat the good performance of Record’s reality show and, of course, take MMA to the Indians:

“I'm going to spend a week recording. Who knows, maybe I’ll find a talent there, a fellow countryman of mine? (laughs) I like playing around, interacting with people and the most important thing is taking the name of the sport with us, opening doors and borders... I'm going to take MMA to the Indians, to see if they learn something ", ends.
