Anderson Silva faces Vitor Belfort

Less than a month to complete the UFC London, expectations are already starting to get high for the return of Anderson Silva to the octagon. The one who seemed eager for the fight was Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, who posted a photo in which the Brazilian's “warm-up” begins.

After more than a year away due to suspension, Anderson will return to action against Michael Bisping, on February 27th. The fight will be the UFC's main attraction on its return to the English capital. The Welshman, who plays as a midfielder for the Spanish team, appeared on Twitter rewatching Anderson's historic fight against Forrest griffin, which took place in 2009 and saw a spectacular victory for “Spider”, in one of the greatest performances of his career.

“Now it’s time for a restful night watching the UFC Fight Pass [Ultimate's online streaming platform]. I'm looking forward to seeing Anderson Silva No. UFC London!”, wrote the player.

In the fight, Anderson will try to achieve his first victory in the Octagon since 2012. Since then, the former champion has lost twice to Chris Weidman and saw a victory over Nick Diaz be transformed into no-contes after being caught in an anti-doping test.
