New UFC game will have Mike Tyson as one of the characters

The first edition of the game “EA Sports UFC”, a partnership between the biggest MMA event on the planet and the producer “Eletronic Arts”, featured several new features and the addition of some special characters, such as the legendary Bruce Lee. Now, for the second version of the game, which will be released in March, players will be able to control none other than the former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.

According to EA, Tyson will have great knockout power with his punches and will be able to perform in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight categories. Furthermore, the former boxer will be available in two versions: “Iron” Mike Tyson, which represents his rise and peak in boxing, and “Legacy” Mike Tyson, already at the end of his professional career.

Tyson himself enthusiastically commented on his digital foray into the game. “As a huge fan, I am honored to be a part of the “EA Sports UFC 2″ game and explore the world of mixed martial arts. I follow the UFC closely and it will be really cool to see how I fare against these incredible MMA athletes,” he said, in an official statement.

The game “EA Sports UFC 2″, which will also feature historic names such as Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba as unlockable characters”, will be released on March 17th. The game will be available for Playstation 4 e Xbox One.
