It didn't take long for Charles do Bronx to speak about his next fight, announced during the broadcast of UFC 332, an event held last Saturday (3). The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) will welcome Diego Lopes to the weight class in the main event of UFC 335, a show scheduled to take place on December 12 in Las Vegas (USA). And, aware of the importance of the commitment, the veteran approaches it with the necessary seriousness.

On his official Instagram account, Charles exuded confidence and motivation for the highly anticipated encounter with Diego in the octagon. In the fight, the São Paulo native will put the 'BMF' belt (Baddest Motherfucker in the UFC) on the line for the first time and seeks not only to defend it, but also his third position in the lightweight rankings.

Furthermore, the veteran aims to secure his third consecutive victory. Therefore, while he respects 'Franja' and acknowledges his quality, Do Bronx intends to show who's boss in the octagon in order to, perhaps, compete for the undisputed title again.

"The war is almost here! 🔥 Officially announcing my next challenge on December 12th at UFC against Diego Lopes . The BMF belt has an owner, and I'm hungrier than ever to bring it back home! 👊"

“I'm counting on everyone's positive energy to fill the arena, the weigh-in, and make this a historic show together. Let's make some noise and put our name at the top once again! The belt is mine, the belt is ours! We're in this together, team! 🇧🇷🦁”
