In the post- UFC 332 press conference , the company president has no doubt that the fight will live up to expectations and has everything to be one of the best of the 2026 season, or even the best. And the high expectations of Dana White and the fans are understandable, given that Charles and Diego are two aggressive, complete, decisive, and exciting professionals.
And the numbers don't lie. Of the 37 victories that the São Paulo native has in MMA, 33 were by stoppage, while the Manaus native has 28 wins, with 24 by submission or knockout. In the fight, Charles aims to defend the 'BMF' (baddest motherfucker) belt and secure his third consecutive victory. Diego, on the other hand, makes his debut in the category after shining in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).
“Obviously, the announcement generated a huge reaction in the arena. I’m sure the fans are excited. This fight should be absolutely insane.”
