The speculation has finally become reality. Coming off a knockout loss, Alex Poatan will have his second fight in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) against one of the toughest possible opponents. The Brazilian will face Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 335, an event scheduled to take place on December 12th in Las Vegas (USA).
The organization itself announced the important fight during UFC 332, this Saturday (3). The winner of the fight is likely to be very close to competing for the heavyweight belt again.
In his second fight in the most dangerous and powerful weight class in MMA, Poatan aims to erase the bad impression left by his previous victory. In July, the veteran was brutally knocked out by Ciryl Gane in the second round.
Meanwhile, the giant Russian, standing at 1,91m and weighing 115kg, is enjoying an excellent run of form. Pavlovich is riding a three-fight winning streak. In terms of rankings, Valter Walker 's friend is second, while Alex is number three.
