Deiveson Figueiredo is set to arrive at UFC 332, scheduled for next Saturday (3), in a new version. The former flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg) will face Payton Talbott in an important bantamweight bout (up to 61,2 kg), in the co-main event. With his sights set on the American prospect, the veteran decided to leave Brazil to hone his striking game in Thailand, considered the world's leading Muay Thai center.
In an interview with PVT, Deiveson explained that he initially traveled to Thailand intending to spend a month training Muay Thai and getting to know the country, a long-held desire. The opportunity to face Talbott arose after his arrival, and the Brazilian chose to remain there to complete all the preparation for the fight. During the training camp, the focus was on increasing the volume of strikes and improving his striking.
