Valter Walker believes Josh Hokit is avoiding a direct confrontation with him in the UFC. Scheduled to face Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg), the American directed his provocations at the Frenchman, also mentioning names like Alex Poatan , Ilia Topuria , and Dana White. In light of this, the foot hunter presented a theory to explain why he stayed out of the fight.
In a post on X, Valter Walker stated that Hokit had avoided his name because he couldn't stand the prospect of sharing a press conference with him. According to the American, his on-camera behavior would be capable of dismantling the image his opponent had built publicly.

There's no my name in there, do you know why? Because he wouldn't be able to stand listening to me at a press conference or anywhere else, cause that character would go straight to fucking hell when I start. U are real cute, taco boy. https://t.co/qmhZsWUzsA
