Renato Moicano made it clear that he didn't like the direction his rival Brian Ortega took in the UFC. After withdrawing from the fight against the Brazilian at UFC 331 , the American was scheduled to face Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar, set for November. The situation bothered the YouTuber fighter, who felt wronged by the organization, since he will face Tom Nolan at UFC Vegas 122.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Renato Moicano criticized the situation and questioned the UFC's choices. The Brazilian mocked the fact that Ortega withdrew from the fight between the two and was subsequently scheduled again for a high-profile bout, while he will have to face Tom Nolan at the Apex.
“Are you kidding me, man? This is impossible. What's left for Calvo? Ortega, in the first fight, pulled out, got another six months suspension, is going to fight Calvo again and pull out again. Calvo at the Apex against Tom Nolan and Ortega against Dan Hooker in Qatar. I can't wrap my head around it. We're going to have to activate the civil war protocol against the UFC,” said Renato Moicano.

Next, the fighter also commented on the duel between Ortega and Dan Hooker . In a provocative tone, he classified the confrontation as a fight between two athletes in bad moments and bet on the victory of the New Zealander. For Moicano, Ortega will not be able to take Hooker to the ground, and the result will be a victory for the veteran in 2026.
“This is a fight between the bad and the worse. The dead against the rotten. But here I think Dan Hooker wins, a turtle in a tree beats Brian Ortega . Ortega won't take him down, and you'll see a Dan Hooker victory in 2026, believe it or not,” concluded the fighter and YouTuber.
