Popular Renato Moicano returned to winning ways in April, but his quest to string together a positive run in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) was unsuccessful. While preparing to face the dangerous Tom Nolan in October, the Brazilian saw two of his main targets collide. The duel between Brian Ortega and Dan Hooker was officially announced for UFC Qatar , an event scheduled to take place on November 21st.

The organization itself announced the fight involving the veterans this Tuesday (29), through its social networks. It is worth noting that Moicano had two scheduled fights against the American, in March and September, however, as the latter was injured, the rematch fell through. Regarding the New Zealander, the YouTuber fighter has always made clear his interest in facing him, considering him one of the easiest fights in the lightweight division.
