Raoni Barcelos suffered a traumatic defeat at UFC Vegas 121, but at least he left with a full coffer. In the main event held this Saturday (26), the Brazilian lost to Raul Rosas Jr. in the fifth round due to injury, but the fight pleased not only the fans, but also the organization. Because of the battle, the veteran, as well as the American, won the 'Fight of the Night' bonus.
The organization announced the awards shortly after the event. Therefore, Raoni and Raul each took home a check for $100 (approximately R$519 at the current exchange rate).
The duel between the top bantamweight fighters (up to 61,2 kg) was balanced, frenetic, and with both athletes alternating good moments. At the end of the 25 minutes of action, Raul managed to impose himself in the fifth and final round and, after executing a takedown, saw Raoni fall and become unresponsive in the octagon. Therefore, the referee stopped the fight, officially awarding the victory to the American via technical knockout.

Luis Hernandez and Yazmin Jauregui were also honored by the UFC, but with the 'Performance of the Night' bonus. On the main card, the police officer, making his UFC debut, shone and submitted Sedriques Dumas in 57 seconds. Meanwhile, Jauregui, in the first fight of the event, managed to recover in the company by knocking out Vanessa Demopoulos in one minute.

Other bonuses
Because they won via the fast track, Brady Hiestand, Christian Edwards, Elves Brener , Montel Jackson , and Tina Black each earned a bonus of $25 (approximately R$130 at the current exchange rate).
Hiestand finished Rinya Nakamura in the second round, Edwards knocked out Rodolfo Bellato in the third round, Brener knocked out Josiah Harrell in the first round, Jackson knocked out Ricky Simón in the second round, and Tina knocked out Melissa Amaya in the second round.
