Representatives from Daniel Cormier 's team , Tina Black and Melissa Amaya, began the fight cautiously, trying to understand each other's movements. The Brazilian started to pressure with combinations of punches, while her opponent used feints and various strikes to try to find openings.
Gradually, Tina began to gain the upper hand in the striking exchanges. The Brazilian took advantage of an opening to land a straight right on the counter-punch and take Melissa down. Without giving her opponent room to recover, Black advanced and landed a series of blows until the end of the first round. Amaya managed to withstand the pressure and even found space to connect with a powerful attack in the final seconds.
Returning for the second round, Tina Black regained control of the distance and continued to rely on her striking combinations. The Brazilian found her target again and delivered a series of strong and precise blows, knocking down Melissa Amaya and ending the fight by knockout. With this result, Tina won the TUF 34 title.
