Diego Lopes may face a new heavyweight opponent in the UFC. The Brazilian, who has already fought for two featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) titles, was asked about the possibility of sharing the octagon with Charles Oliveira.
In an interview with the Instagram page 'VF Comunica / Grappling', available this Thursday (25), Diego revealed what his stance would be if the organization officially presented the possibility of a confrontation against the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg). The man from Manaus arrived at the UFC in 2023 and has 10 fights in the organization, with seven wins and three losses.

“I never say no to any fight. If the UFC comes to me and says: We have this fight, you against Charles, I will accept. If I have the opportunity, it will definitely be a good fight,” said Diego Lopes.
The Brazilian, therefore, is not closing the door on a possible encounter with Charles Oliveira , should the UFC decide to promote the fight in the future. Diego has made it clear in other interviews that he would like to test himself in the lightweight division.
