On a collision course with Yousri Belgaroui as part of the main card of UFC 334, Caio Borralho was forced to address a different issue this Thursday (24). In a post on his official Instagram account's stories, the man from Maranhão highlighted and addressed a comment that criticized him for doing slow fights.
According to the fighter, the statement wouldn't make sense, mainly due to the fact that he rarely opts for grappling.

"Guys, I saw this comment here and it appeared quite a bit in the posts about the fight (against Belgaroui). The truth is that people believe what they want to believe, and not the facts. Let's look at the facts: Paul Craig , I knocked him out and didn't go for a takedown; Cannonier, I almost knocked him out in the fifth round and didn't go for a takedown; Imavov, five rounds of fighting and I didn't go for a takedown. So I don't know where they're getting this from," he stated.
‼️ Caio Borralho defended himself against comments about his fights being boring and tied up.
He also said that in 10 UFC fights he was only left out of the main card in one of them:
