Werdum: “When Overeem feels Fedor’s hand he will fall”

After revealing to SUPER FIGHTS who will compete again only in 2011, Fabricio Werdum analyzed the possible fight between the current Strikeforce champion, alistair overeem e Fedor Emelianenko, who recently saw a ten-year unbeaten run fall after being submitted by the Brazilian. For Werdum, Fedor must recover from the defeat he suffered against the Dutchman.

“It’s difficult to find any fault with Fedor. Suddenly now some fighters may think that it's easy to beat him (Fedor), but the next person who fights him, which should be Overeem, will pay. When Overeem feels Fedor's hand he will fall”, said the Brazilian, who made a point of saying that he must return to the octagon against the winner of this fight.

“So many things changed in the world of MMA after that finish, that I'm not even the champion of the event, but it doesn't even seem like this belt is worth that much and that my victory was much more important”
