Caio Borralho already has a date and opponent set for his return to the octagon. The Brazilian will face Yousri Belgaroui at UFC 334, scheduled for November 14th in New York (USA). The fight was announced during the UFC 331 broadcast last Saturday (19).
In a video published this Monday (21), the Fighting Nerds middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) explained the reasons that led him to accept the duel. Despite having other targets in mind, the fighter highlighted that he is willing to face the challenges presented by the Ultimate.

“I’m a fighter, first of all, fighting is my job, that’s what I do, that’s why I train, to fight the best in the world, whether ranked or unranked. I had my targets and I made that clear in UFC interviews, but I made it clear that I would accept the fight,” said Caio Borralho.

The Brazilian also highlighted the period of inactivity as a factor he wants to avoid at this stage of his career. After spending more than a year without fighting before facing Nassourdine Imavov in September 2025, Caio intends not to go through another period away from the octagon.
“I was out of action for 13 months when I fought Imavov, and that was perhaps one of the things that hindered me the most in that fight, so much time inactive, and now I've been out of action for 5 or 6 months, my last fight was in March. I want to be active, I'm one of the best in the world,” stated the fighter from Fighting Nerds.
