Daniel Cormier did not hold back in his criticism of Gable Stevenson after the defeat suffered at UFC 331. The Olympic champion was knocked out by Sean Sharaf in just 12 seconds, on the main card of the event held last Saturday (19), in Los Angeles, United States.
During the American broadcast of the event, Cormier analyzed Steveson's performance and pointed out mistakes made by the heavyweight (120,2 kg) inside the octagon. The two-time champion and commentator also questioned the way the fighter reacted to the negative result and highlighted the importance of accepting the consequences of a defeat.

“I think Gable made some mistakes in there. You’re a fighter with four wins and no losses. Fight. You have to fight. Besides, you just stand there and take the hits whenever you lose. You let the guy raise his hand and you just stand there, no matter how you feel. You have to accept the consequences whenever things don’t go your way. You can’t be a big winner and then an ungrateful loser, and I think that was bad on Steveson’s part,” said Daniel Cormier.
