At the event held this Saturday (19), in California (USA), the Brazilian ignored his underdog status in the fight against the dangerous Doo-ho Choi and, with sheer ferocity, came out on top. The veteran, 39 years old, shone and rediscovered victories by knocking out the South Korean in the first round.

Furthermore, with this important victory, Pitbull's situation in the UFC becomes less dramatic. Now, in four fights for the company, the Brazilian has two wins and two losses. Had the veteran been defeated for the third time, the probability of being cut by the company was not only high, but almost certain.

The fight started with a lot of action, with Choi and Pitbull landing jabs and straight punches on Pitbull. Choi, being quicker, threw jabs and straight punches at Pitbull. However, Pitbull reacted and startled Choi with his powerful crosses and straight punches. Then, Choi unleashed his punches, delivering straight punches and uppercuts to Pitbull.
In turn, Pitbull also rocked Choi with a good jab and straight punch. Aggressive, Pitbull continued attacking Choi with crosses and staggered him. With Choi in a precarious situation on the ground, Pitbull applied a brutal ground and pound and won by knockout.
