Jean Silva is close to competing for the UFC belt, but he has just received a challenge outside the world's largest MMA organization. After submitting José Miguel Delgado at Noche UFC , the Brazilian showed, once again, that he is not just a one-dimensional striker. His performance caught the attention of Muhammad Mokaev , who challenged the Brazilian to a wrestling match.
In a post on X, Mokaev revealed that he intends to face Jean Silva in November, during an RAF event, and suggested that the fight take place in the openweight category.

Muhammad Mokaev was involved in one of the most controversial dismissals in UFC history. At 23 years old, the prospect had accumulated seven wins in seven fights in the world's largest MMA organization and was considered one of the main contenders for the flyweight title (up to 56,7 kg).
Despite his strong performance inside the octagon, Mokaev was also the subject of reports about difficulties in his relationship with the organization and with people around him. These issues were cited as one of the factors that contributed to his departure from the UFC.
Johnny Walker opens up about his heavyweight debut at UFC 332.
