Glover Teixeira has a suggestion for Khamzat Chimaev 's next move in the UFC. Defeated by Sean Strickland at UFC 328 , the Chechen is targeting top middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) fighters to return to the octagon and seek another title shot. However, according to the former champion and coach of Alex Poatan , 'The Wolf' could find a special opportunity in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg).
During an appearance on the Overdog Podcast, Glover Teixeira revealed that he expected to see Chimaev move up a weight class. According to the former champion, the fighter might be using his time away from fighting to gain weight and prepare to compete at light heavyweight.
"I thought he was going to move to the 93 kg category, and I thought he was even taking a break from that, to get that weight cut for the higher weight class," said Glover Teixeira.

Glover also pointed to Paulo Borrachinha as a possible opponent for Chimaev in a potential promotion to a higher weight class. The veteran believes the duel would have commercial and promotional appeal, and also believes the Russian would be able to beat the Brazilian.
"It would be a good fight between him and Borrachinha. I believe he could even beat Borrachinha, but I think it's good in terms of sales and promotion," concluded the veteran.
