Nate Diaz once again taunted Ilia Topuria after the Georgian's defeat to Justin Gaethje at UFC Casa Branca in June. The former UFC fighter recalled 'El Matador's' taunts and responded to the former lightweight champion's (up to 70,3 kg) statements.
In an interview with the American website MMA Fighting, available last Monday (14), Nate was asked about Topuria and made harsh criticisms. The American left the UFC in 2022 and, since then, has been working in boxing and fought on the first Netflix card .

"He's a complete idiot, a punching bag. He called me a punching bag, he's a fucking punching bag," said Nate Diaz.
Next, the veteran explained why he believes Topuria received excessive attention before facing an opponent who, in his view, managed to test his true level inside the octagon.
“They made a big fuss about him, just like they did with Conor when he started to become popular. You get a little hype before you have a real fight, that's what happened to him. He had a real fight with Justin Gaethje , and now look at him,” the 'Bad Boy' concluded.
