The fight between Renato Moicano and Brian Ortega is out of the UFC 331 fight card , an event that takes place this Saturday (19) in Los Angeles, (USA). The American of Mexican descent was forced to leave the fight due to an injury.

With Ortega withdrawing from the fight against Moicano, the Brazilian will have another opponent, but not at UFC 331. 'Calvo' will face Tom Nolan in the main event of UFC Las Vegas 124 , scheduled for October 31 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas (USA).

Brian Ortega 's withdrawal from UFC 331 wasn't his first setback with Renato Moicano . The fighters were scheduled to face off at UFC 326 in March, but the American withdrew due to injury . On that occasion, Moicano was also moved to another card, going to UFC Las Vegas 115 in April, where he faced and submitted Chris Duncan.

In the main event, Alexandre Pantoja attempts to reclaim the flyweight title against Joshua Van ; in the co-main event, Mauricio Ruffy faces Joshua Van , while Patricio Pitbull will take on Doo Ho Choi . On the preliminary card, Brunno Hulk faces Edmen Shahbazyan ; Eduarda Ronda shares the octagon with Casey O'Neill, while Joanderson Tubarão battles Giga Chikadze.
