The most popular name in MMA today wants to return to competition. Months after his defeat to Ciryl Gane at the White House, Alex Poatan said this Monday (14) that he is interested in stepping back into the octagon in the next three months. However, what caught attention was the Brazilian's decision to leave the choice of his next opponent in the hands of the fans.
In a video posted on social media, the Brazilian fighter asked fans to show the UFC their wishes for the athlete's near future. According to Poatan, it's still possible to have another fight in 2026, with only the opponent yet to be determined.

Everyone knows that the fans, the public, have a lot of power. Leave your opinions in the comments below, who should be my next opponent,” he stated.

Away from the octagon since October of last year, Aspinall revealed this Monday (14) that there is still no date for his return to the sport. Because of this, he left the title vacant, thus promoting Ciryl Gane to the position of linear champion. In this context, the possibility of a rematch between the Frenchman and the Brazilian gains strength, mainly given the controversy of the first fight and the strong media power of the Paulista.
