Khamzat Chimaev already has a prediction for the potential duel between Sean Strickland and Nassourdine Imavov . Defeated by the American at UFC 328 in May, the Wolf believes that his conqueror will not be able to retain the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg) if the fight with the Frenchman is confirmed.

In an interview with Adam Zubayraev, Chimaev assessed that Imavov has a technical advantage over Strickland and pointed to physical conditioning as a determining factor in the Frenchman's victory. The former title challenger also expressed surprise at his own defeat to the American and admitted that he hadn't even imagined this result before the fight.

“If Imavov is feeling good in terms of cardio, technically I think Imavov is much better than him, all the fighters are better than Strickland. Before the fight, I couldn't even imagine him beating me,” said Khamzat Chimaev.
