Carlos Prates faces a great challenge in the UFC, but he's been preparing accordingly. After Islam Makhachev defeated Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330 , the Brazilian became one of the main contenders to face the Russian. Aware of the difficulty ahead, the Fighting Nerds smoker continues to intensify his grappling training.
In a video posted to his Instagram stories, Carlos Prates appears in an intense grappling session. In the footage, the Brazilian works on different positions with his training partners and takes the opportunity to taunt Makhachev, making it clear that he intends to make the Russian pay for the effort he has been putting in during his preparation.
