In an interview with journalist Ariel Helwani this Wednesday (9), the Brazilian revealed that he has become the newest recruit of businessman Eddie Hearn.

According to the athlete, Hearn's presence in his negotiations will bring him many benefits both inside and outside the octagon.

"He already sent us a contract. I'm very excited, we're going to do amazing things together," said the Brazilian.

Well-positioned in the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg) after knocking out Azamat Murzakanov , he is one of the most likely contenders to fight for the interim belt amidst Carlos Ulberg 's injury . However, he has been making statements through social media that may indicate difficulties in the negotiations.
