The Armenian-Dutch Gegard Mousasi would be the opponent of Michael Bisping in the main fight of UFC London, scheduled for February 2016, but ended up left aside by the Ultimate organization, who removed him from the program and selected the Brazilian Anderson Silva in your place. However, despite being in the background, Mousasi guaranteed that he will continue on the English card, but in the co-main fight.
“I'm not hurt and I'll stay on the card. UFC London as co-main event. My manager is working with the UFC to find me a new opponent,” Mousasi wrote on his official profile on Twitter. The opponent of the Armenian-Dutch, however, was not announced.
At 30, Gegard Mousasi has a professional record of 37 wins, six defeats and two draws. Former champion of DREAM and Strikeforce events, Mousasi is coming off a defeat to Uriah Hall at UFC Japan, last September, the only one by knockout in his entire career.
