Paulo Borrachinha may be packing his bags to leave the UFC. After debuting in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) with a great knockout , the Brazilian became one of the favorites to fight for the category's belt. However, as he only has one more fight left on his contract with the organization, the fighter seems willing to use the situation to his advantage.

In a post on X, Borrachinha revealed that he intends to fulfill his last contractual commitment if he doesn't get the opportunity to fight for a title. The Brazilian stated that, in that situation, he would accept facing another opponent in a three-round fight and then leave the UFC as a free agent.

“I only have one more fight before I become a free agent. If there isn’t a title on the line, I’ll face someone else in a three-round fight and get out of my UFC contract,” wrote Paulo Borrachinha.
